Bull McCabe’s is a small pub in Boston that resembles pubs in Galway. However, it is safe to say that most Galway pubs do not have weekly local reggae collective shows. Boasting an exclusive capacity of thirty guests, Bull McCabe’s pub features live reggae music 6 times a week. This popular, diminutive pub serves a wide selection of delicious fares from its extremely small kitchen — approximately fifty-square feet, inclusive of equipment. The professional-looking space features a spruced-up stage area, redone floors, attractive barstools, and tasteful decor.

Originally, Bull McCabe’s was known for its range of fried seafood offerings and huge burgers. The meals were always really delicious, but as is with everything Bull McCabe’s needed to evolve. So, Bull McCabe’s hired Chef Michael DeSisto to spice up and scale up the menu. Before joining Bull McCabe’s, Chef Michael DeSisto had a stint at the North End’s Daily Catch and Mccabe’s On Mass. Being a regular at Bull McCabe’s, Chef Michael DeSisto was a welcome addition to the team. Michael was also familiar with Bull McCabe’s target market and saw the potential for what the pub could do with their offerings. With his help, Bull McCabe’s has been transformed into one of the most popular neighborhood spots in the area.
